quick facts:
1: We welcome women and men of all walks of life, whether members or not,
at any of our meetings.
2: We are part of a movement within the
Church of Scotland which "invites and encourages both women and men to commit their
lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action."
3: Our overall theme for 2009-2010 is
"What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk
humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)"
4: Our guild has raised substantial sums for church and charity in recent years
