Action Groups Dear Member / Friend I am writing this letter to you on behalf of the Kirk Session, inviting you to reflect on the way we experience the fellowship of the Church. As we approach the year's end, it may be helpful to consider how we as a community can work together and serve the Lord in a unified way. In order to achieve this we need to harness the talents and skills of all our members and, indeed, many of our friends and neighbours throughout the Parish. Each person has received certain talents, we all have our own interests and experiences. There is room for everyone and there are opportunities for everyone to bring his / her gifts, experience and enthusiasm into the life of the Congregation. This approach is very much in line with the Church of Scotland's national Stewardship programme, “Challenge to the Church”, which requires congregations to review how they can monitor and maximise the potential of members in terms of the giving of time, talents and money over the next few years. We are committed to taking part in this programme, so how can you become involved? There is a list that you can access by using the button on the left suggesting ways in which you may become involved. Please mark the activities in which you feel you could participate and return the list to the person who delivered it to you, return it to the Church, or send it to me by mail or email. Best wishes Louis C Bezuidenhout (minister)
